Getting started with LearnOkay

LearnOkay turns video and audio into timestamped subtitles you can study, edit, and export.

1. Upload a file

Open Video recognition (视频识别) or Audio recognition (语音识别) and create a new item. Pick a file, then enter a name and a description. For video, LearnOkay extracts the audio track in your browser and uploads it along with the video.

2. Wait for transcription

The item shows Recognizing while ElevenLabs Scribe transcribes the speech. When it shows Recognized, click the name to open the editor.

3. Edit and study

• Click a line to jump the player to it. The current line and word are highlighted during playback.
• Click a time range to adjust start and end times.
• Click a speaker to reassign the line, or rename speakers in Speaker settings.
• Use Find, Smart split, and Extend time to clean up the subtitles, then Save.

4. Export

Click Export, choose SRT, WebVTT, TXT, or JSON, and choose whether to include speaker names.
